PUNCAK - The Infantry Battalion Task Force (Satgas Yonif) Raider 323/White Crocodile Kostrad, one of the TNI Operations Command Units (KOOPS TNI) is carrying out the task of the RI-PNG Mobile Border Security Operation (Opspamtas) in the Puncak Regency area, Central Papua Province. On Monday, July 8, 2024.
The Kostrad Infantry Battalion 323 Task Force Patrol Team carries out security in the Gome District area, specifically Misimaga Village. This patrol was utilized by soldiers from the Kostrad Infantry Battalion 323 Task Force with the addition of a territorial program activity entitled "TNI Cares for Barbershops".
Before the patrol began, on the orders of the Commander of the Kostrad Infantry Battalion 323 Task Force, Lt. Col. Inf. Tri Wiratno, the Gome Post led by Lt. Inf. Galang prepared hair barber equipment as additional supplies for patrol activities. Upon arrival at Misimaga Village, the TNI soldiers met a group of children who were playing.
Seeing the presence of the Kostrad Infantry Battalion 323 Task Force Patrol Team, the children immediately waved their hands as they wanted to greet the TNI soldiers. Responding to the children's waving hands, while still prioritizing safety factors, First Lieutenant Galang accompanied by several soldiers from the Patrol Team approached the children and invited them to communicate.

Starting from this communication, Lettu Inf Galang conveyed the importance of tidiness and personal hygiene for the Young Generation who will be the Backbone of the Nation in the future.
Following up on his statement, Lettu Inf Galang offered the children to have their hair cut as a form of awareness of personal neatness and cleanliness.
It didn't take long for the children to respond quickly, "I do, Uncle Soldier." While cutting their hair, TNI soldiers also invited Social Communication (Komsos) to incorporate Pancasila values in the implementation of daily life.
The children responded enthusiastically to the presentation of the TNI soldier's social message, listening carefully and responding spontaneously when asked. After the haircut, a child who had his hair cut, named Tius Wakerwa, said "Thank you, Uncle Soldier, for cutting my hair, " said Tius.
